Central Coast Wedding and Portrait Photographer | Family Photos

January 25, 2021 by Jaypee Abraham

We at Central Coast Wedding and Portrait Photographer were absolutely in love with this family and the beautiful light we had for their family portrait the other week. We spent a beautiful afternoon at the park where, surprise surprise, most family photographers usually hang out to take breathtaking and timeless images for amazing people, such as the case with our lovely family. We at Central Coast Wedding and Portrait Photographer were lucky enough to have the best light to capture this photogenic family. Making my job as a Central Coast Wedding and Portrait Photographer so easy, just simply placed them in beautiful light and the portrait images speak for themselves.

The trick for Family photos is just to be yourselves. Add that with your favourite subtle coloured clothing (which we always say avoid bold colours and large logos) with exceptional portrait lighting, which is normally early morning or late afternoon, all combined to make simple timeless images for your family to remember for years to come. As a Central Coast Wedding and Portrait Photographer, we love travelling and finding new spots, especially places with beautiful light, and meeting amazing people to capture relaxed and candid family moments. If you and your family are keen for timeless and relaxed family photos, then we are Central Coast Wedding and Portrait Photographer aka Coast Wedding Photography are super keen to meet you. We love being behind the camera to capture your memories. Coat Wedding Photography Specialising in wedding and portrait photography throughout the Central Coast, The Hunter Valley, Newcastle and Sydney.

Norah Head Photography – Engagement shoot Lindsay & Mitch

January 19, 2021 by Jaypee Abraham

This shoot, although was done last year, was just too good not to share! This was actually the second engagement shoot we did for these guys at Norah Head. Not because the first shoot wasn’t amazing, because it was, but it was super late start last time due to Lindsay’s hair and makeup so we didn’t have a lot of light left, plus it rained half way through the shoot! So when the team got together and decided they wanted to do some photography workshops to gear up for a busy 2021, Lindsay and Mitch were the first couple to spring to mind. On the contrary, we had amazing sunshine at Norah Head plus Norah Head isn’t somewhere we have shot very often so it was a great afternoon of creativity and fun at Norah Head. We will be blogging their beautiful Caves Beach wedding in the coming weeks too. Enjoy this Norah Head Photography!

Killcare MacMasters Beach Wedding – Jemimah & Joel

January 6, 2021 by Jaypee Abraham

After a VERY quiet year of weddings, we were so fortunate for our last wedding for 2020 to be this one! Killcare and MacMasters Beach are two places that we could never get over shooting. No matter how many times we shoot at Killcare and MacMasters Beach we are always in awe with the gorgeous scenery we have only minutes from home. We sure are the lucky country with places like Killcare and MacMasters Beach. Jemimah and Joel celebrated their special day on private property at MacMasters Beach amongst their closest friends and family. A simple, yet elegant set up on the parents property at MacMasters Beach, was the perfect location for Jemimah and Joel to exchange vows. Shortly after the ceremony, led by their church pastor, we all decided to take a drive up to Bouddi National Park Killcare. A bit of rain during the ceremony and a mainly overcast day actually worked in our favour with the soft, warm light we had consistently through the day. No harsh sunshine or speckled light, no heat wave conditions, no bad vibes.. was literally the perfect day! Thank you again for having us. Love this blog entry, you will too.

Central Coast Family Portraits 2021

January 4, 2021 by Jaypee Abraham

It’s a new year! And with that comes change, much-needed change! (after the year that we just had) Most of our wedding bookings from last year are now going ahead this year, which means it will be a busy year for most wedding photographers (fingers crossed) this year.

In 2020 surprising though, we booked triple the number of family portraits than we usually do. And with that it allowed us to reflect on the importance of the year that was. Although it was a tough year for most, it was certainly a year where most humans across the globe cherished what was most important to them, and the result was often simple and right in front of them. And for us here at Coast, it was evident that the true thing that mattered the most was family and being part of a group of people where we feel most secure and loved was important. We were fortunate enough to see this through the families we have been involved with during the past 9 months. An absolute honour!

Saying this, we have now created a new and simple portrait package for everyone to take advantage of. This includes

60-minute portrait session on location | A checklist to help you prepare for your portrait session | Secure online digital gallery-ready a week after your session | Downloadable printable images

Contact us today to take advantage of our family portrait package and start the year off with lasting memories. Email Victoria info(a)coastweddingphotography.com.au

Central Coast Family Photographer – Family photos

November 18, 2020 by Jaypee Abraham

Another gorgeous family portrait session we did outside the Central Coast NSW recently when we decided to go on a little road trip down south to Wollongong. Although we adore the Central Coast NSW, we LOVE the gorgeous scenery outside the Central Coast NSW, and we definitely got lucky with this beautiful Wollongong family – and location! We think a few more road trips outside the Central Coast NSW are on the horizon for this family photographer…

Kulnura Central Coast Wedding Photographer – Sarah and Pat

November 10, 2020 by Jaypee Abraham

Another amazing Central Coast Wedding that we have been fortunate to capture. Sarah and Pat tied the knot in Kulnura Central Coast NSW, a gorgeous location north of Mangrove Mountain on the Central Coast NSW, with lush properties and amazing Central Coast scenery. It has been a while since we shot a church wedding and after the ceremony we ventured off to a private property, a Central Coast wedding photographer’s dream on the Central Coast NSW for wedding. We were spoilt with perfect light and after a breezy shoot, we headed over to Yarramalong Central Coast for an intimate reception with Sarah and Pat’s dearest.

Central Coast Family Photos – Fagan Park

November 5, 2020 by Jaypee Abraham

Over the COVID wedding break, we were fortunate enough to still book in a lot of Central Coast Family Portraits that kept us a float as well as keeping us creative and doing what we love. Since the weddings are starting to pick up again, we expected the Central Coast Family Photos to quieten down since more and more “non-essential” services began to reopen however it has been quite the opposite. We have loved the extra Central Coast Family Photos that we have been doing over the past couple of months. Perhaps COVID has made us slow down and appreciate time with our loved ones more and realise how quickly things can change and kids grow. We are so fortunate to capture Central Coast family photos for so many beautiful families. We love seeing them come back over the years with additions to their little tribes. This shoot here are our good friends Pat and Min. Last time we shot them, Min was pregnant with their youngest Zoe. Hopefully next time we shoot them, there will be another little human to meet!!

Central Coast Family Portrait Photographer – Wollongong Family

October 31, 2020 by Jaypee Abraham

Being based on the Central Coast NSW, obviously most of our shoots are up our way on the Central Coast NSW. However, we decided to take a little road trip down south and this Central Coast family portrait photographer was fortunate enough to see some of the beautiful spots the South Coast has to offer as well as shooting a couple of families in the process! Though we absolutely love the Central Coast NSW, the south coast has some of the most spectacular spots so this Central Coast Family Portrait Photographer was indeed very happy!

Avoca Beach Family Portraits

September 16, 2020 by Jaypee Abraham

So 2020 has been a bit of a write off with weddings. We have had the odd wedding here and there, which has been so exciting, however generally speaking it hasn’t been a year of weddings… however, we are LOVING that it has given us the opportunity to do more family shoots with so many of our weekends freed up that would usually be all day wedding shoots at Avoca Beach. One of which was this gorgeous family, celebrating a special 60th birthday at Avoca Beach. There was no other location suited to this fam more than Avoca Beach and the shot of Tony and Julianne with the Avoca Beach SLSC in the background means so much more than a pretty picture, as this was where they met all those years ago when they were only teens. Now, with three gorgeous sons, three beautiful daugher-in-laws and 4 amazing grandchildren, it’s safe to say that they have certainly been blessed in this lifetime.

Central Coast NSW – Newborn portrait session

June 30, 2020 by Jaypee Abraham

Newborn photography is not something we usually get asked to do on the Central Coast NSW. Not because we don’t love babies but probably because when you think of newborn photography you think indoor studio with softbox lighting and adorable pink, blue and white knits. Not us though! We have no idea how to mold newborns and how to style them, but we do love natural outdoor lighting so when Grace asked us to take some photos of her, now family of three, on the Central Coast NSW we were delighted. Although this Winter hasn’t been super cold so far (knock on wood) we were obviously still really mindful of the cooler temps so we kept this shoot short and sweet but still got all the baby cluckiness we needed on the Central Coast NSW.
