Maternity Shoot at Bouddi | Central Coast Maternity Photographer

May 5, 2025 by Jaypee Abraham

As a Central Coast maternity photographer, few moments are as heartwarming as capturing the love and anticipation of expecting parents. Our recent session with Tiffany and Jacob at Bouddi National Park was filled with golden light, laughter, and the cutest furry companions.

Why Bouddi National Park is a Dream for Maternity Photography

Located on the NSW Central Coast, Bouddi National Park is a gem for natural light photography. Its combination of coastal cliffs, lush bushland, and ocean views provides a stunning and diverse backdrop — especially at golden hour. The sunset during Tiffany and Jacob’s shoot gave everything a soft, glowing warmth that perfectly highlighted this special chapter in their lives.

A Family Affair — Including Three Adorable Dogs

One of the most memorable parts of this shoot? Tiffany and Jacob brought along their three small dogs! As a Central Coast maternity photographer, we love when pets are included in sessions — they’re family too.

From playfully exploring the trails to sitting sweetly at their humans’ feet, the dogs brought energy, fun, and a few perfectly unscripted moments that made the session truly unique.

Capturing Connection and Emotion

We began with relaxed walking shots along a forest path, capturing candid moments between the couple as they connected with each other and their soon-to-arrive baby. Tiffany’s flowing dress and Jacob’s quiet strength created a beautiful contrast that really came alive in the images.

At one of Bouddi’s stunning cliffside lookouts, we posed them with the sweeping coastline behind them — a breathtaking scene symbolic of the journey ahead. These moments are why being a Central Coast maternity photographer is so meaningful — every shoot tells a story.

Creating Timeless, Natural Images

Every session we do is designed to feel relaxed, personal, and true to you. Tiffany and Jacob’s shoot reflected that perfectly. The wind through the trees, the sun on the ocean, and the calm anticipation between them made for a collection of images that are both timeless and full of emotion.

Including their dogs made it even more special, adding a playful, candid element to the gallery. These details make a shoot unique and help us, as your Central Coast maternity photographer, create something that truly reflects your family.

Planning Your Own Maternity Shoot on the Central Coast?

If you’re dreaming of a relaxed, naturally beautiful session that feels like you, let’s make it happen. Whether it’s the cliffs of Bouddi, the beaches of Avoca, or somewhere special to you, working with a Central Coast maternity photographer means you’ll have guidance every step of the way — from outfit advice to posing, location scouting, and more.

📩 [Get in touch] to book your maternity session — we’d love to help you tell your story.

The Lasting Value of Family Portraits – A Central Coast Family Photographer’s Perspective

April 29, 2025 by Jaypee Abraham

Why Family Portraits Matter More Than You Think

In today’s fast-paced world, it’s easy to let years pass without taking the time to truly capture life’s most important moments. Between busy schedules, growing children, and ever-changing family dynamics, family portraits often become an afterthought. However, having professional family portraits taken is one of the most meaningful ways to preserve your family’s legacy—and there’s no better time to do it than now. If you’re on the fence, here’s why working with a Central Coast family photographer could be one of the best decisions you make this year.

A Tangible Legacy

Family portraits are more than just pictures; they are a tangible piece of your family’s history. They freeze time in a beautiful, visual way that can be passed down for generations. Years from now, your children and grandchildren will be able to look back and see the love, connection, and joy that made your family unique. A skilled Central Coast family photographer can help you create images that reflect not just how your family looks, but who you are together.

Celebrate Growth and Change

Children grow up fast—sometimes in the blink of an eye. One year they’re losing their first tooth, and the next they’re off to high school. Family portraits document these changes and serve as milestones in your family’s journey. Whether it’s a yearly tradition or a special occasion, hiring a Central Coast family photographer allows you to celebrate the growth, achievements, and changes your family experiences over time.

Quality Over Convenience

While smartphones make it easy to snap a quick photo, they rarely match the quality, composition, and emotional depth of a professional portrait. Lighting, angles, and editing all play a role in capturing the perfect image. A professional Central Coast family photographer brings expertise and creativity to each session, ensuring that every photo is a true work of art—worthy of your living room wall or family album.

Strengthen Family Bonds

Scheduling a portrait session can also be a bonding experience. It’s a chance to step away from screens and daily routines and simply enjoy being together. Laughing, posing, and interacting during the session helps bring families closer and often results in spontaneous, heartfelt moments that a professional photographer is trained to catch.

Support Local Artistry

Choosing a Central Coast family photographer not only benefits your family but also supports local artists who are passionate about their craft. These photographers understand the beauty of the Central Coast and often incorporate natural backdrops—beaches, vineyards, forests—that make your portraits even more stunning and unique to the region.

Make It Happen

Whether it’s your first time scheduling a session or it’s been a few years since your last one, don’t wait to make family portraits a priority. Time passes quickly, but portraits allow you to revisit those special moments again and again. Contact a trusted Central Coast family photographer today and begin capturing the beautiful story of your family.

Glenworth Valley Wedding Photography, Central Coast NSW – Jewelay & Joshua

April 27, 2025 by Jaypee Abraham

Jewelay and Joshua’s wedding at Glenworth Valley on the Central Coast of NSW was nothing short of a dream. Nestled in a secluded paradise of rolling hills, lush greenery, and open sky, Glenworth Valley is known for its natural beauty—and their big day made full use of it. As a Glenworth Valley Wedding Photographer Central Coast NSW, it was an absolute joy to capture every moment of their celebration.

The couple chose Glenworth Valley for its raw, untamed charm and peaceful surrounds. It’s a unique venue that offers more than just a beautiful backdrop—it’s an experience. Their ceremony took place under a canopy of trees, with soft sunlight filtering through the branches. Jewelay, radiant in her lace gown, walked down the aisle, surrounded by family, friends, and the soundtrack of native birdsong.

One of the most unforgettable moments happened just after the ceremony: the Running of the Horses. Just before sunset, more than 200 horses galloped across the valley in a breathtaking display of freedom and motion. As a Glenworth Valley Wedding Photographer Central Coast NSW, this is the kind of magic you dream of capturing. The newlyweds stood hand-in-hand, silhouetted against the golden light and rushing horses—a moment that looked like it had leapt from a movie screen.

The reception unfolded inside Glenworth Valley’s elegant reception room, which offered sweeping views of the surrounding greenery through its floor-to-ceiling windows. The space was filled with natural light and styled with modern rustic charm—think warm timber tones, beautiful florals, and soft light. Guests were still buzzing from the ceremony and the Running of the Horses when the bridal party made their unforgettable entrance. With music pumping and energy high, they burst onto the outdoor dancefloor with champagne showers flying through the air—an epic moment that set the tone for the night. Jewelay and Joshua followed, beaming with joy, ready to celebrate with their nearest and dearest. The combination of stunning views, heartfelt speeches, and non-stop laughter made the evening feel intimate and electric all at once. We snuck away for sunset portraits in the fields, and Glenworth Valley delivered its signature glow. Rolling mist, golden tones, and soft mountain light gave every photo an ethereal quality. As a Glenworth Valley Wedding Photographer Central Coast NSW, moments like these are pure gold. It’s a rare venue that offers both epic landscapes and intimate settings within walking distance.

Their guests danced under the stars, with live music echoing through the valley and laughter carrying late into the night. It was a celebration full of heart, and you could feel the love in every corner. Jewelay and Joshua’s families embraced one another as if they’d known each other forever—a true coming together of souls.

Glenworth Valley really is one of the most stunning venues on the Central Coast of NSW. From the Running of the Horses to the dreamy ceremony spaces and the incredible natural scenery, it’s a place that never ceases to inspire. As a Glenworth Valley Wedding Photographer Central Coast NSW, I feel lucky every time I get to return to this magical pocket of the world.

Jewelay and Joshua’s wedding was more than just beautiful—it was meaningful, vibrant, and full of life. If you’re planning your own Glenworth Valley celebration, know that your love story will be wrapped in wonder, just like theirs.

And if you’re looking for a Glenworth Valley Wedding Photographer Central Coast NSW, I’d love to help you capture it all.

Dalewood Estate Wedding Photography – Wedding of Anjali and Patrick

March 4, 2024 by Jaypee Abraham

As photographers, we’re fortunate to be entrusted with documenting the union of couples from diverse backgrounds, each with their unique stories and traditions. Anjali and Patrick’s wedding was a beautiful fusion of Indian, Chinese and Western cultures, a celebration that honoured both their heritage and their love story.

From the vibrant colours of Anjali’s traditional Indian attire to the timeless elegance of her white wedding gown, the blending of cultures was evident from the moment we arrived at Murungan Temple and Dalewood Estate Hunter Valley. The air was filled with excitement and anticipation as guests mingled, eagerly awaiting the union of two souls.

The wedding ceremonies were a kaleidoscope of rituals, blending the richness of Indian traditions with the classic charm of Chinese and Western customs. From the elaborate rituals of the Hindu ceremony to the traditional Chinese tea ceremony to the solemn exchange of vows in the celebrant led ceremony at Dalewood Estate Hunter Valley, each moment was steeped in significance and symbolism.

Capturing the essence of both cultures was a rewarding challenge for us as photographers. We sought to highlight the intricate details of Anjali’s ornate bridal attire, from the delicate embroidery to the shimmering jewels and henna, while also capturing the timeless elegance of her white gown and Patrick’s tailored suit.

Throughout the festivities, there was a palpable sense of joy and camaraderie as family and friends came together to celebrate love in all its forms. From the lively music and energetic dancing to the heartfelt toasts and emotional moments, every aspect of the wedding was a testament to the power of love to transcend cultural boundaries at Dalewood Estate Hunter Valley.

As the sun set and the celebrations drew to a close after a night of dancing at Dalewood Estate Hunter Valley, we couldn’t help but reflect on the beauty of Anjali and Patrick’s wedding at Dalewood Estate Hunter Valley and Murungan Temple. It was more than just a union of two individuals; it was a celebration of rich culture and family traditions, and the timeless bond that brings us all together: love.

In capturing their Indian-Chinese-Western wedding at Dalewood Estate Hunter Valley, we were reminded of the richness that comes from embracing different cultures and traditions in Australia. Anjali and Patrick’s love story serves as a beautiful reminder that love knows no bounds and that when we come together in celebration, we create something truly magical at both Murungan Temple and Dalewood Estate Hunter Valley.

Elopements are a beautiful expression of love, often characterised by their intimate nature and the absence of elaborate ceremonies. As a wedding photographer, every wedding brings unique moments of love and joy to capture. Bryce and Cayla’s wedding day at Gracelands Forresters Beach was a true testament to the beauty of relationships, creating a tapestry of memories that will be cherished for generations to come.

We started the day with the boys, who were casually getting ready whilst enjoying a few beers in the meantime. Looking very sharp, we hit the street to take some portraits of the boys. Not long after we made our way over to Copacabana to get some photos of the bride and her entourage. Enjoying a few champagnes with a beautiful view is definitely how you want to spend the morning of your wedding day. Cayla’s radiant smile as she was surrounded by her bridesmaids, the intricate lace on her gown, the careful arrangement of the bridal bouquet that perfectly complemented her dress. These precious moments showcased the elegance and charm that would be present throughout the day. Not long after it was time for us to get moving and to head over to Gracelands Forresters Beach to where all the days celebrations were being held.

Every exchange of vows, every stolen glance, and every gentle touch painted a picture of their devotion. It was an honour to document their journey towards a lifetime of togetherness at Gracelands Forresters Beach.

After the ceremony, family photos and congratulations at Gracelands Forresters Beach, we embarked on a very short journey to capture intimate portraits of the newlyweds and their bridal party. The lush greenery and ocean views at Wyrrabalong Lookout Forresters Beach served as the perfect backdrop. Bryce and Cayla’s love radiated effortlessly, making our day as a photographer a delightful experience. Their chemistry was palpable, resulting in timeless and authentic photographs that told their unique love story. The connection they shared was a joy to witness and an honour to capture.

Lambs Valley Central Coast Wedding Photography – Wedding of Bryce and Bonnie

October 20, 2022 by Jaypee Abraham

Absolutely in love with Bonnie and Bryce’s wedding images at Lambs Valley Central Coast wedding photographer! It feels like a very long time ago we had our first conversation with this lovely young couple. Due to the ups and downs of Covid and lockdowns we rescheduled Bonnie and Bryce’s wedding quite a number of times at Lambs Valley Central Coast wedding photographer. When their day at Lambs Valley Central Coast wedding photographer was finally fast approaching the Central Coast NSW was bombed with rain that just seemed (and continues to seem) never ending. It was a very soggy day but we managed to get a few little breaks in the rain at Lambs Valley Central Coast wedding photographer for photos. It kind of went from sunny, to raining, to overcast and back to rain all day long but we didn’t let it spoil our day up in Lambs Valley Central Coast wedding photographer. Bonnie and Bryce were just over the moon that the day was happening and that their closest friends and family could be there at Lambs Valley Central Coast wedding photographer to celebrate with this delightful couple. Their little private property amongst the bush and surrounded by gorgeous farm animals was just the pefect location for this couple. Bonnie in her white boots and denim jacket was flawless and we just really loved her down to earth and casual vibe. Made our day a breeze in Lambs Valley Central Coast wedding photographer and though our car got bogged it was well worth it for these two at Lambs Valley Central Coast wedding photographer.

Mt Ettalong Photographer – Engagement shoot of Alyssa and Matthew

August 16, 2022 by Jaypee Abraham

Its only been two months since we last blogged but feels like forever ago! We’ve been enjoying our little Winter pause on weddings however first wedding back for the season is this Saturday and we’re pumped. Though the wedding side of things has been quiet, we have been busy shooting lots of beautiful families and couples. This particular shoot was a lovely Saturday afternoon spent with Alyssa and Matthew at Mt Ettalong who will be getting married in October. It was the perfect Saturday afternoon at Mt Ettalong. That Winter golden glow is just magic at Mt Ettalong. We made very good use of golden hour up at the lookout at Mt Ettalong. Alyssa and Matthew decided to have a little glass of sparkling, chocolate and strawberries overlooking the stunning Central Coast at Mt Ettalong. And then the rest of the afternoon was spent enjoying that glorious light.

If you’re deciding whether or not you should have an engagement shoot, our answer is always yes! There are so many reasons why an engagement shoot is a great idea. Firstly, it is a great way to get comfy in front of the camera. Most people aren’t used to being followed and directed all day with a large lens all day. Having an engagement shoot will calm those nerves and allow you to feel what it’s like to be in front of the camera. Secondly, it’s a great way to get to your know your photography team. Although all our shooters are super friendly and all our couples we meet on the day and have a blast, sometimes it is nice to familiarise yourselves with the team who will be spending the entire day with you. Thirdly, an engagement shoot is a great idea to not waste your makeup trial! When you get all dolled up it’s almost essential to take photos. Another reason you may want to have an engagement shoot is for the fur babies. Often our fur babies don’t attend weddings, but having them at the engagement shoot is a great way to include your fur baby so they aren’t missing out completely. Plus who doesn’t want professional images with their fur baby to cherish forever! Lastly, your engagement images can be used at your wedding or on the lead up to the big day. You may want to make save the date cards, use images for annoucements on social media, have your guests sign a special photobook or enlargement on the wedding night, etc.

If these reasons have sealed the deal for you on having an engagement shoot, we’d love to hear from you! From the end of this month onwards, we will be available for engagement shoots on weekdays and some Sundays. Get in touch now info@coastweddingphotography.com.au
