Avoca Beach Central Coast Family Photographer – Family portrait session

January 25, 2024 by Jaypee Abraham

In the hustle and bustle of our fast-paced lives, it’s easy to overlook the importance of preserving precious family moments especially when at Avoca Beach Central Coast. Last year, we had the pleasure of documenting a heartwarming family photography session at Avoca Beach Central Coast that not only captured the essence of familial love but also showcased the wisdom and joy that grandparents bring to the picture at Avoca Beach Central Coast.

As the sun dipped below the horizon at Avoca Beach Central Coast, casting a warm golden glow across the landscape, four generations gathered for a memorable photo session at Avoca Beach Central Coast. The grandparents, with their weathered yet smiling faces, exuded a timeless grace that spoke of a lifetime filled with love, trials, and triumphs. Their eyes sparkled with the wisdom earned through decades of experiences, and it was evident that they were the pillars of this close-knit family.

We skillfully orchestrated a series of candid shots at Avoca Beach Central Coast that portrayed the genuine laughter, shared stories, and playful interactions among family members. The grandchildren, wide-eyed and full of curiosity, listened intently as their grandparents recounted tales from their youth. These stories became the thread weaving through the generations, connecting the past to the present.

The beauty of the session at Avoca Beach Central Coast lay in capturing the unscripted moments – the shared glances between grandparents, the loving embrace of parents, and the infectious laughter of the little ones. Every click of the camera seemed to freeze time, preserving these fleeting instances for generations to come.

The grandparents, initially shy in front of the lens, soon embraced the opportunity to be the stars of the session at Avoca Beach Central Coast. Their radiant smiles told a story of a lifetime of love and commitment.

As the session concluded at Avoca Beach Central Coast, the family gathered for a group photo, creating a tangible memory that would forever encapsulate the warmth and love shared among the generations. The family photography session with grandparents at Avoca Beach Central Coast was not just about creating beautiful images; it was a celebration of family, a tribute to the enduring bonds that withstand the test of time.

Gracelands Forresters Beach Wedding Photographer – Wedding of Bryce & Cayla

January 15, 2024 by Jaypee Abraham

As a wedding photographer, every wedding brings unique moments of love and joy to capture. Bryce and Cayla’s wedding day at Gracelands Forresters Beach was a true testament to the beauty of relationships, creating a tapestry of memories that will be cherished for generations to come.

We started the day with the boys, who were casually getting ready whilst enjoying a few beers in the meantime. Looking very sharp, we hit the street to take some portraits of the boys. Not long after we made our way over to Copacabana to get some photos of the bride and her entourage. Enjoying a few champagnes with a beautiful view is definitely how you want to spend the morning of your wedding day. Cayla’s radiant smile as she was surrounded by her bridesmaids, the intricate lace on her gown, the careful arrangement of the bridal bouquet that perfectly complemented her dress. These precious moments showcased the elegance and charm that would be present throughout the day. Not long after it was time for us to get moving and to head over to Gracelands Forresters Beach to where all the days celebrations were being held.

When we arrived at Gracelands Forresters Beach, the air was filled with excitement as the air hummed with anticipation. We immersed ourselves in capturing the delicate details that adorned Gracelands Forresters Beach. As the ceremony began at Gracelands Forresters Beach, we positioned ourselves discreetly to capture genuine emotions as they unfolded. Bryce’s eyes filled with tears as Cayla walked down the aisle, her father guiding her towards her future. The raw beauty of their love and the significance of the moment unfolded. Every exchange of vows, every stolen glance, and every gentle touch painted a picture of their devotion. It was an honour to document their journey towards a lifetime of togetherness at Gracelands Forresters Beach.

After the ceremony, family photos and congratulations at Gracelands Forresters Beach, we embarked on a very short journey to capture intimate portraits of the newlyweds and their bridal party. The lush greenery and ocean views at Wyrrabalong Lookout Forresters Beach served as the perfect backdrop. Bryce and Cayla’s love radiated effortlessly, making our day as a photographer a delightful experience. Their chemistry was palpable, resulting in timeless and authentic photographs that told their unique love story. The connection they shared was a joy to witness and an honour to capture.

As the sun began to set, the reception at Gracelands Forresters Beach commenced, infusing the evening with an atmosphere of celebration. We moved around the room, capturing candid moments of laughter, heartfelt speeches, and the exhilarating dance floor energy at Gracelands Forresters Beach. The joyous ambience was contagious, and every shot encapsulated the essence of their wedding day at Gracelands Forresters Beach.

Bryce and Cayla’s wedding day was a true testament to the magic of love and commitment. As photographers, being able to document their journey was a privilege. Through the lens, we witnessed the depth of their emotions, the tender moments, and the love that emanated from everyone present. Bryce and Cayla’s wedding day at Gracelands Forresters Beach will forever be immortalised in photographs, serving as a tangible reminder of the beginning of their beautiful journey as a married couple.

Lambs Valley Central Coast Wedding Photography – Wedding of Bryce and Bonnie

October 20, 2022 by Jaypee Abraham

Absolutely in love with Bonnie and Bryce’s wedding images at Lambs Valley Central Coast wedding photographer! It feels like a very long time ago we had our first conversation with this lovely young couple. Due to the ups and downs of Covid and lockdowns we rescheduled Bonnie and Bryce’s wedding quite a number of times at Lambs Valley Central Coast wedding photographer. When their day at Lambs Valley Central Coast wedding photographer was finally fast approaching the Central Coast NSW was bombed with rain that just seemed (and continues to seem) never ending. It was a very soggy day but we managed to get a few little breaks in the rain at Lambs Valley Central Coast wedding photographer for photos. It kind of went from sunny, to raining, to overcast and back to rain all day long but we didn’t let it spoil our day up in Lambs Valley Central Coast wedding photographer. Bonnie and Bryce were just over the moon that the day was happening and that their closest friends and family could be there at Lambs Valley Central Coast wedding photographer to celebrate with this delightful couple. Their little private property amongst the bush and surrounded by gorgeous farm animals was just the pefect location for this couple. Bonnie in her white boots and denim jacket was flawless and we just really loved her down to earth and casual vibe. Made our day a breeze in Lambs Valley Central Coast wedding photographer and though our car got bogged it was well worth it for these two at Lambs Valley Central Coast wedding photographer.

Mt Ettalong Photographer – Engagement shoot of Alyssa and Matthew

August 16, 2022 by Jaypee Abraham

Its only been two months since we last blogged but feels like forever ago! We’ve been enjoying our little Winter pause on weddings however first wedding back for the season is this Saturday and we’re pumped. Though the wedding side of things has been quiet, we have been busy shooting lots of beautiful families and couples. This particular shoot was a lovely Saturday afternoon spent with Alyssa and Matthew at Mt Ettalong who will be getting married in October. It was the perfect Saturday afternoon at Mt Ettalong. That Winter golden glow is just magic at Mt Ettalong. We made very good use of golden hour up at the lookout at Mt Ettalong. Alyssa and Matthew decided to have a little glass of sparkling, chocolate and strawberries overlooking the stunning Central Coast at Mt Ettalong. And then the rest of the afternoon was spent enjoying that glorious light.

If you’re deciding whether or not you should have an engagement shoot, our answer is always yes! There are so many reasons why an engagement shoot is a great idea. Firstly, it is a great way to get comfy in front of the camera. Most people aren’t used to being followed and directed all day with a large lens all day. Having an engagement shoot will calm those nerves and allow you to feel what it’s like to be in front of the camera. Secondly, it’s a great way to get to your know your photography team. Although all our shooters are super friendly and all our couples we meet on the day and have a blast, sometimes it is nice to familiarise yourselves with the team who will be spending the entire day with you. Thirdly, an engagement shoot is a great idea to not waste your makeup trial! When you get all dolled up it’s almost essential to take photos. Another reason you may want to have an engagement shoot is for the fur babies. Often our fur babies don’t attend weddings, but having them at the engagement shoot is a great way to include your fur baby so they aren’t missing out completely. Plus who doesn’t want professional images with their fur baby to cherish forever! Lastly, your engagement images can be used at your wedding or on the lead up to the big day. You may want to make save the date cards, use images for annoucements on social media, have your guests sign a special photobook or enlargement on the wedding night, etc.

If these reasons have sealed the deal for you on having an engagement shoot, we’d love to hear from you! From the end of this month onwards, we will be available for engagement shoots on weekdays and some Sundays. Get in touch now info@coastweddingphotography.com.au

Tumbling Waters Retreat Wedding Photographer – Wedding of Chantal and Nic

May 30, 2022 by Jaypee Abraham

It’s not very often we have the opportunity to shoot down in Wollongong so when Chantal and Nic asked us to capture their wedding at Tumbling Waters Retreat, Wollongong, we could not resist. Not only because the South Coast is spectacular but also because we had never been to Tumbling Waters Retreat, Wollongong before so it was super exciting to be heading to a new location as well. Double excitement. Leading up to the big day at Tumbling Waters Retreat, Wollongong we were on constant rain check. And it just so happened the week of Chantal and Nic’s wedding at Tumbling Waters Retreat, Wollongong was looking clear and full of sunshine, except for one day, which happened to be their wedding day! Regardless, rain, hail or shine we knew that it would be an amazing day at Tumbling Waters Retreat, Wollongong. The day arrived and we woke up to overcast skies. Not wanting to get our hopes up high, we still prepared ourselves for some wet weather at Tumbling Waters Retreat, Wollongong. As we were making our way down the Coast towards Tumbling Waters Retreat, Wollongong we noticed the skies start to open up and the sun appear. So exciting considering most of our weddings this year have showered and surely enough we knew our bride and groom would be relieved too.

We started our day off at Headlands Hotel Austinmer Beach where Nic, his two sons and parents were spending a cruisey morning getting themselves ready for the day ahead at Tumbling Waters Retreat, Wollongong. After a few family portraits and a little stroll out by the ocean, we made our way over to Tumbling Waters Retreat, Wollongong where the girls were getting ready. Having already cracked open a bottle of sparkling, the girls were a little nervous but otherwise happy and excited, particularly because no wet weather plans needed to be discussed! Spoilt with gorgeous ocean views from the luxury accommodation at Tumbling Waters Retreat, Wollongong, we took some portraits and candids before it was time to slip into Chantal’s simple yet elegant gown. And before we knew it, we could see guests begin to arrive so we knew it was time to get ourselves prepared for the ceremony at Tumbling Waters Retreat, Wollongong. Usually ceremonies take place on the grass area at Tumbling Waters Retreat, Wollongong however due to all the rain, the grass was still damp and muddy so it was decided that the ceremony would take place on the deck overlooking to ocean – no complaints from us. With guests spread out on the hill (offering perfect viewing for guests) and Chantal and Nic exchanging vows in front of the most gorgeous floral arbour, the bride and groom said their I do’s amongst their dearest family and friends. Not long following, it was time for some bride and groom photos. Luckily with such gorgeous grounds, we didn’t need to venture far from Tumbling Waters Retreat, Wollongong. We didn’t have long until the sun was fully set so we took a few shots around the gardens and in the bushland just outside Tumbling Waters Retreat, Wollongong. We got what we needed within our 30minute time frame before it went completely dark and then it was time to rejoin the guests as they were finishing up canapes at Tumbling Waters Retreat, Wollongong. Heart-warming, funny and short speeches were following by a delicious 3 course meal as well as cake. And once formalities were complete, it was time to let loose on the dance floor. To finish up a specular day at Tumbling Waters Retreat, Wollongong, Chantal and Nic were (fake) farewelled by guests through a tunnel of sparklers but then still snuck in a few more songs on the dance floor with champagne still flowing freely much to everyone’s joy – it didn’t look like anyone wanted the night to end! Thanks again for having us Chantal and Nic, such a beautiful day and an even more beautiful couple and we so thrilled we were there to be a part of it.

Somersby Gardens Estate Wedding Photography – wedding of Laura and Wade

April 10, 2022 by Jaypee Abraham

It feels like it’s been fooorrreeevvveeerrr since shooting at Somersby Gardens Estate Central Coast so when we booked Laura and Wade’s wedding we were stoked (and pleasantly surprised) to be shooting back at Somersby Gardens Estate Central Coast. Local couple Laura and Wade were just a dream to shoot and we are so happy that we were there to capture their special day at Somersby Gardens Estate Central Coast. The entire day was spent at Somersby Gardens Estate Central Coast which is always a massive bonus for us wedding suppliers. So we started the day with the boys but having the boys and girls both getting ready at Somersby Gardens Estate Central Coast we drifted between the two, where ever the action was! The boys were chilling with some beers at Somersby Gardens Estate Central Coast, ironing their clothes and being boys. The girls were enjoying some sparkling at Somersby Gardens Estate Central Coast. It was a rare sunny day (thank you El Nina) on the coast but the gardens at Somersby Gardens Estate Central Coast were green and lush so their garden ceremony was just perfect. Once the two exchanged their vows and were announced as husband and wife, we spent a little time taking some photos with Laura and Wade’s family and friends and then it was time for the bridal party shoot. So much variety at Somersby Gardens Estate Central Coast with country vibe dirt roads and beautifully manicured gardens and backlit tall grass – we could have spent hours shooting away at Somersby Gardens Estate Central Coast but that would have been selfish of us as their guests were waiting for the newlyweds back at the barn house reception venue to start the party. The highlight of the shoot was definitely Somersby Gardens Estate Central Coast resident horse trying to take a mouthful of Laura’s veils as well as the delicious golden hour light we seem to rarely have these days! As suspected, Laura and Wade’s crowd did not disappoint at all. They were all there to have a good time and celebrate the love between Laura and Wade. Such an awesome crowd, with delicious cake and dessert made by their friend as well. We always love these personal touches that make a couple’s wedding so unique and special. Enjoy scrolling these images shot at Somersby Gardens Estate Central Coast.

Pearl Beach Wedding Photography – Wedding of Katy & Ryan

March 31, 2022 by Jaypee Abraham

We’ve only really had a small handful of bright sunny weddings this year on the Central Coast NSW. And luckily for Katy and Ryan, they picked the perfect day at Pearl Beach, Central Coast NSW. Although Pearl Beach, Central Coast NSW isn’t too far from us, it has surprisingly been a while since we last shot at Pearl Beach, Central Coast NSW so it was so refreshing to be back. We started the day with boys at Pearl Beach, Central Coast NSW which is usually the case. The boys were organised and chilled so literally got suited up right away so that we could spend a bit more shoot time with the girls at Pearl Beach, Central Coast NSW. This Northern Beaches crew were down to earth and just wanted to savour every moment of the day so the girls enjoyed some sparkling in the yard at their Pearl Beach, Central Coast NSW AirBnB before getting dressed in their gowns for the celebrations to come. Soon enought, Katy was ready to put on her gown and we got some super cute shots of her ladies reactions once dressed, we just love capturing these candid moments at Pearl Beach, Central Coast NSW. The time had come to make our way over to the beachside Pearl Beach, Central Coast NSW where Ryan, their adorable little son, and their guests awaited. Beach weddings are often really tricky with the wind, however amongst all this year’s rain, the sky was blue, the sun was shining and the wind was minimal – perfect conditions for a Pearl Beach, Central Coast NSW wedding! It was not long until Ryan and Katy became husband and wife, guests cheered and greeted the newly weds at Pearl Beach, Central Coast NSW and after some group photos with family and friends at Pearl Beach, Central Coast NSW, the bridal party took a bit of time out for their Pearl Beach, Central Coast NSW location shoot before partying the rest of the night away. Once we arrived at the reception location at Pearl Beach, Central Coast NSW, the guests welcomed the bride and groom and could not wait to get this night started at Pearl Beach, Central Coast NSW. Katy and Ryan, sat amongst the guests which really gave the night an intimate feel and once the formalities were complete, everyone was keen to hit the dance floor for a bit of the Nutbush and Macarena, the two songs that every age group knows the steps to! And after a fun day at Pearl Beach, Central Coast NSW, the short drive home was just icing on the cake for us! What an amazing day and hopefully the sun comes back soon for more of this!

Kantara House Central Coast NSW Wedding Photography – Wedding of Sally and Matais

March 22, 2022 by Jaypee Abraham

We had a long haul of overcast and rainy days over the past month or so on the Central Coast NSW but we aren’t complaining. The even light an overcast day brings at Kantara House Central Coast NSW weddings is just as gorgeous as any other day, plus the gardens are looking so lush and green now! We met Sally and Matais last year at Bouddu National Park for their engagement shoot, just a little practice run before the big day. Super breezy shoot for us, so when Sally and Matais’ big day at Kantara House arrived, which is literally down the road for us so big plus, we were so excited to see them tie the knot. The forecast for the week of Sally and Matais wedding was rain, rain, and more rain at Kantara House Central Coast NSW. However, the weather gods heard our calls and although there were little moments of drizzle, for the most part, we enjoyed the gardens to their full capacity! We started off the morning in the gorgeous, country-white bridal suite at Kantara House Central Coast NSW with the girls. The girls were sipping on their sparkling and finishing up their hair and makeup in their gowns and fluffy slippers. Lots of fun and laughter with the girls before the father of the bride arrived for an emotional greeting at Kantara House Central Coast NSW, always such a beautiful moment and I’d be lying if I told you my eyes didn’t swell up a little during post-production! As always, time wasn’t on our side at Kantara House Central Coast NSW and the boys had arrived at Kantara House Central Coast NSW. Looking dapper in their navy suits, we took a few portraits on the boys outside the Charlotte Chapel Kantara House Central Coast NSW before they headed inside to wait for the bride, Sally. The ceremony in the Charlotte Chapel Kantara House Central Coast NSW was a beautiful service surrounded by their closest friends and family and once Sally and Matais exchanged vows, their guests enjoyed some sparkling and ice cream, care of Mr Goaty, at Kantara House Central Coast NSW whilst the bridal party took a stroll around the property of Kantara House Central Coast NSW. So many little hidden garden gems around Kantara House Central Coast NSW, we almost always feel like we could shoot all afternoon however it would be rude of us to keep the newlyweds from their guests eagerly waiting for the party to start at the reception at Kantara House Central Coast NSW. As always the staff at Kantara House Central Coast NSW put on amazing food and beverages (and as suppliers we always get fed well too so major bonus for us!), and once the formalities had been complete, everyone was ready to hit the dance floor at Kantara House Central Coast NSW, young and old didn’t hold back on the dance moves and even got some random pushups on the dance floor too! Good times at Kantara House Central Coast NSW, one that will stick around in the memory bank for quite some time.

Bimbadgen Palmers Lane Hunter Valley Wedding Photography – Wedding of Renee and Brendan

March 14, 2022 by Jaypee Abraham

We were so excited to blog this wedding shot at Bimbandgen Palmers Lane Hunter Valley and Talits Estate Vineyard. Although not our first time shooting at Bimbandgen Palmers Lane Hunter Valley, it is always such a treat shooting at Bimbandgen Palmers Lane Hunter Valley. Such an elegant, country vibe and even though it was a wet overcast day, the stormy clouds provided a backdrop that set a romantic mood for the day. We started our day with the boys at the Hunter Valley where they were taking their time getting ready, enjoying a few beers before the day’s festivities really kicked off. Looking smart in their suits, the boys cleaned up well so that was our cue to head on over to the girls at Talits Estate Vineyard getting ready before heading over the Bimbandgen Palmers Lane Hunter Valley. First time shooting at Talits Estate Vineyard and when we arrived there, our jaws literally dropped to the floor. What a stunning property Talits Estate Vineyard is. So many gorgeous little quaint spots to shoot at from the bathroom to the facade. We could shoot at Talits Estate Vineyard all day! Once the girls where ready, it was time for us and the gang to make our way from Talits Estate Vineyard to Bimbandgen Palmers Lane Hunter Valley. Renee and Brendan exchanged vows at Bimbandgen Palmers Lane Hunter Valley amongst friends and family and though we could see the rain in the distance over the mountains, the rain held off over our couple and before we knew it, these two beautiful humans were announced husband and wife at Bimbandgen Palmers Lane Hunter Valley. With rolling hills, long grass, storm clouds and a gentle breeze, we did not have to venture far for the perfect backdrop. We had everything we needed right at Bimbandgen Palmers Lane Hunter Valley. After a quick 90 minute bridal shoot it was time to head back to Renee and Brendan’s guests to enjoy some good food and company at Bimbandgen Palmers Lane Hunter Valley. The long dining tables and country style set up were the perfect settings at Bimbandgen Palmers Lane Hunter Valley and while guests and the bridal party enjoyed great food and wine, the couple enjoyed their first dance as husband and wife, lit up with fireworks and it wasn’t too long before the crowd joined the couple on the dance floor at Bimbandgen Palmers Lane Hunter Valley where most of them stayed until the end of the night at Bimbandgen Palmers Lane Hunter Valley. Just before packing up after a long, yet fun shoot, guests farewelled the newlyweds with sparklers and well wishes before heading back to their Hunter Valley retreats to sleep it off! Congratulations again Renee and Brendan!
