Clareville Kiosk Wedding – Wedding of Abby & Jon

December 28, 2021 by Jaypee Abraham

Its been a while since we had a shoot outside of the Central Coast and although we definitely are not complaining, it was such a treat venturing outside of the Central Coast to shoot Abby and Jon’s wedding at Clareville Kiosk on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. The day began on Sydney’s Northern Beaches when we met up with Abby and some of her girlfriends and family on Sydney’s Northern Beaches before heading over to Clareville Kiosk, Northern Beaches. Although Abby and Jon didn’t have a bridal party for their Clareville Kiosk, Northern Beaches Wedding, it was a cruisey morning getting ready with girlfriends and champagne. When we were all ready for our Clareville Kiosk, Northern Beaches Wedding, the bride made her way over to Clareville Beach, Northern Beaches where Jon and their guests eagerly awaited her arrival at Clareville Beach, Northern Beaches. Accompanied by her father and flower girls, Abby, our elegant bride, met her groom at the waterfront alter at Clareville Beach, Northern Beaches. Once the intimate ceremony was complete at Clareville Beach, Northern Beaches, the newly weds went for a little stroll around this gorgeous part of Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Spoilt with lush Australian bush and waterfront, we definitely were not short of variety. Although it was not a typical Australian Summers day, the overcast day provided beautiful even light with a gentle cool breeze in between short moments of sprinkling clouds at Clareville Beach, Northern Beaches. As the afternoon came to an end, it was time for us to head back to the guests at Clareville Kiosk, Northern Beaches. Another first for us shooting at Clareville Kiosk, Northern Beaches, a quant and inviting space at Clareville Beach, Northern Beaches. The casual yet classy venue was the perfect spot for Abby and Jon who sat amongst guests and enjoyed the food and wine thoughtfully prepared by the staff at Clareville Kiosk, Northern Beaches. Though it was our first time shooting at Clareville Kiosk, Northern Beaches, we certainly hope that it is not our last! Thank you again for choosing us to shoot this most special day in your lives.

Bells at Killcare Wedding Photographer – Wedding of Charlotte & Declan at Bells at Killcare Central Coast NSW

November 23, 2021 by Jaypee Abraham

High-school sweethearts, Charlotte and Declan celebrated their Spring wedding at the always beautiful Bells at Killcare Central Coast NSW. Not only do we love Bells at Killcare Central Coast NSW because its a 10-minute drive from home, or because the food is amazing (and us suppliers get always get fed so well!) but we love Bells at Killcare Central Coast NSW because this boutique little venue is simply beautiful all year round and Bells at Killcare Central Coast NSW is so close to the most breathtaking views.

We started the day with the boys in a house that Declan literally hand-built himself – impressive! The guys took their time getting ready, enjoying a few beers along the way whilst suiting up for the day ahead. We then made our way over to the girls still getting their hair and makeup done before making their way over to Bells at Killcare Central Coast NSW. Charlotte arrived at Bells at Killcare Central Coast NSW in a classic car with her pop, before walking down the garden aisle to Delcan with her parents. It was a fairly windy Spring day, that worked in our favor with Charlotte’s long white veil. After the couple said their “I do’s” we spent a bit of time in the gardens at Bells at Killcare Central Coast NSW taking some happy snaps of the couple with their family and friends. It was at this point we thought we would venture off the grounds of Bells at Killcare Central Coast NSW at head up to Bouddi National Park literally a five-minute drive from Bells at Killcare Central Coast NSW. We had the stunning views and bush trails all to ourselves and spent the afternoon in the sunshine before making our way back to Bells at Killcare Central Coast NSW to get the party started. After all the formalities and amazing meals, the bride and groom and their guests left no space on the dance floor at Bells at Killcare Central Coast NSW to enjoy the rest of the night celebrating Charlotte and Declan

Here is a snapshot of their day at Bells at Killcare Central Coast NSW.

Toowoon Bay Wedding Photographer – Wedding of Logan & Dayne

September 26, 2021 by Jaypee Abraham

Finally, have a wedding to blog – after months of lockdown, micro weddings are now allowed to take place. Although pretty much all of our couples for September, October and November have moved their wedding days to next year, Logan and Dayne decided to just go ahead with a micro wedding at Toowoon Bay Wedding and we are so happy they did! We started this Toowoon Bay Wedding off at Logan’s parent’s property at Wamberal. Open plan living gave for amazing natural light to filter through. Having the girls and the boys both at the same location whilst getting ready made is super easy to breeze back and forth between them. Not long after, the groom and family members went for a short drive to Toowoon Bay to await the bride’s arrival for this Toowoon Bay Wedding. It’s been a while since we had shot a morning wedding (and a wedding in general!) so we got lucky with the overcast day for this Toowoon Bay Wedding and avoided harsh light and strong shadows for softer tones. The ceremony was joined by immediate family only and some of the public were treated to a beautiful ceremony whilst on their morning walks at Toowoon Bay. After Logan and Dayne exchanged wedding vows at Toowoon Bay Wedding, the newlyweds and their families headed back to Wamberal to enjoy some food, drinks, and some much needed family time after months of lockdown. Though a small group, Logan and Dayne didn’t skimp out on some fun wedding traditions like dancing, the flower and garter toss and cutting their cake for this Toowoon Bay Wedding. Thanks for having us Logan and Dayne, such a honour to be a part of your special day.

Bells at Killcare Wedding

August 18, 2021 by Jaypee Abraham

Due to this current lockdown, obviously we arent shooting any weddings at the moment at Bells at Killcare. Its pretty devastating that our couples are all looking to reschedule their special days but looking on the bright side, at least we have some amazing weddings to look forward to especially at Bells at Killcare. So because we can’t blog any new weddings, we are going through the archives and reminiscing on some of our amazing past weddings, especially at Bells at Killcare.

One which stands out is the wedding of Karina and Craig at Bells at Killcare back in 2017. It’s always a lot of fun having lunch receptions at weddings and at Bells at Killcare it was such a good move by Karina and Craig as their guests were able to enjoy the beautiful gardens of Bells at Killcare for the entire day. As mentioned in many of our previous blog posts, having the wedding all in one location from preps to reception is a photographers dream. No rushing about to and fro, we can just roll in and shoot away with less worry about how we are going for time. So we started the morning off at one of Bells at Killcare’s family suites, where Karina and the girls were getting ready for the day. Not long after we headed over to the Bells at Killcare reception where Craig cruised in in his drop top looking very dapper.

The ceremony took place on the beautiful grounds of Bells at Killcare with their closest friends and family by their side and once they exchanged vows, the guests enjoyed champagne and canapés in the lush gardens whilst enjoying speeches by family and the couple as well. We all then headed into the reception room at Bells at Killcare where they enjoyed the always amazing food that the Bells at Killcare kitchen always prepare. And whilst the guests continued to enjoy the food, drinks and music at Bells at Killcare we took this opportunity to duck out with Karina and Craig.

The beauty of the Central Coast, and Killcare in particular, is that we are spoilt with the national parks that surround us so we headed over the Bouddi National Park near the Box Head trail and enjoyed golden hour with the newly weds. Such an awesome day and we can’t wait for the weddings to start up again so we can celebrate and shoot more beautiful weddings, not only at Bells at Killcare but all over the Central Coast and NSW.

Avoca Beach Wedding Photographer – Pip and Alex

July 23, 2021 by Jaypee Abraham

A couple of months back we met this lovely couple, Pip and Alex at Avoca Beach., Central Coast Visiting from Texas (but Pip being Australian) we were expecting to do a family portrait session. When we arrived at the beautiful beachfront property at Avoca Beach, Central Coast we were caught a little off guard when Pip shows us to the room with her hanging wedding dress! However having shot millions of weddings, we were very well prepared for this shoot! Pip and Alex had actually already tied the knot overseas in Texas however wanted a wedding photoshoot at Avoca Beach, Central Coast which we were all for. With Mum and Dad there to help look after the little one, we set off with Pip and Alex at Avoca Beach, Central Coast for a little afternoon stroll at Avoca Beach, Central Coast. Alex in his tux and Pip in her beautiful white gown against the Avoca Beach, Central Coast glow was magic. Not too long before sunset we quickly called Mum, Dad and baby over for a few family portraits at Avoca Beach, Central Coast – the perfect opp on this beautiful afternoon at Avoca Beach, Central Coast. Thanks again for the fun afternoon at Avoca Beach, Central Coast Alex and Pip. We will surely hit you guys up when we visit Texas – hopefully soon when lockdown is done and dusted for good.

Tocal Homestead Wedding Photographer – Alisha & John

July 17, 2021 by Jaypee Abraham

Another amazing wedding and one that will be stamped in our memory banks for a VERY long time. Another first for us shooting a Tocal Homestead Wedding so after snooping at all their insta and FB posts, we couldn’t wait to drive up for this Tocal Homestead Wedding. And this was the last wedding we shot before lockdown 2.0 with the lockdowns starting at midnight on the night of their wedding, so we were suuuuper lucky to get this Tocal Homestead Wedding in – leaving non-lockdown life with a bang with lots of laughter, hugging and dancing with 100 odd guests at this Tocal Homestead Wedding. We started the day with the boys and what a lovely surprise that our neighbour was the brother of the groom, so instantly we knew this wedding crew was going to be a great one. Once the boys were spruced up and after a couple of whiskeys, we made our way over to the girls at Tocal Homestead wedding who were enjoying some sparkling whilst getting their makeup done and it wasn’t long before we walked over to the ceremony where the groom and guests were waiting for their beautiful bride. Under a gorgeous and big, old tree Alisha and John say their I dos and then that’s where the real fun starting for us Tocal Homestead wedding photographers! So many pretty spots and that golden winter glow was magic. Sheep, old barns, paddocks by mountains, an old heritage building – we could have spent hours upon hours at Tocal Homestead wedding but of course being Winter, sun down came too soon but the fun did not stop there for this Tocal Homestead wedding. Lots of talk about how the next morning we were going back into lockdown, so the guests did not hold back. Great food, flowing bevs and dancing was enjoyed by all at this Tocal Homestead wedding, a day Alisha and John, and their loved ones, will treasure.

Peterson House Hunter Valley Wedding Photographer – Gemma & Mitch

July 11, 2021 by Jaypee Abraham

It’s been a few years since we last shot at Peterson House Hunter Valley and we were excited to be back. Probably just as excited as the wedding party as when we arrived there was a very excited atmosphere. A nice change from the crazy, rush and nerves we often arrive into. The two photographers usually stick together through out the entire day helping each other out however, this time round it ended up working out with the two starting at the same time but with one at the boys and the other with the girls. Both preps on private properties not too far from Peterson House Hunter Valle and although it usually means the photographers are under the pump when they are on their own, Gemma and Mitch’s day was different. It was a super cruisy prep shoot and got all the details, portraits and candid moments we needed before heading over to the chapel at Petersons House Hunter Valley. Probably one of the best chapels for a photographer’s lens with lots of open space and natural light. The weather forecast for the day was looking mixed and it was lucky Gemma and Mitch decided to get married inside a chapel at Peterson House Hunter Valley as the rain came down just as it started. The couple exchanged vows and the guests showered the couple with bubbles instead of a petal toss, which was very fun for the children attending… and us! And just as the couple exited the chapel at Peterson House Hunter Valley, the clouds parted and we got rainbows and sunshine for the remainder of the afternoon with an epic cotton candy sky at sunset. With the early sunsets during the Winter, it wasn’t long until it was time to head back where the guests were waiting at Peterson House Hunter Valley. We knew that good food was waiting for the bridal party… and us hungry photographers after a day of shooting, but the night was not over at Peterson House Hunter Valley. Just before heartfelt speeches, cake cutting and dancing, we got some gorgeous night shots outside the Peterson House chapel in Gemma’s dad’s old classic car. What a day Gemma and Mitch hosted at Peterson House Hunter Valley – thank you for letting us be apart of the action!

Mangrove Mountain Wedding Photographer – Brianna & Sam

June 29, 2021 by Jaypee Abraham

Another gorgeous Central Coast wedding, this time, at Mangrove Mountain. So much to share about Brianna and Sam’s Mangrove Mountain Wedding, where do I begin? We first met Bri years ago, shooting at a conference in Sydney (which is rare for us!) and knew right away that if this girl got married, she would be one fun bride and so when Bri got in touch and told us she was getting married at Mangrove Mountain, not only were we stoked for her, but we were stoked for ourselves to have such a fun bride to look forward to shooting. The day started at the boys. These friendly, country blokes were as chilled as you would expect country blokes to be at Mangrove Mountain so the shoot was a breeze and we strolled out of the boys prep loving life and our jobs! When we arrived at the girls, they were enjoying the morning sunshine with sparkling and nibbles, in their robes, in the shade of the lush gardens at Mangrove Mountain. The girls took their time getting ready, really enjoying the moment and it wasn’t a mad panicked rush to get ready which was a nice change as Mangrove Mountain wedding photographers. The time came to head over to the ceremony, which was enjoyed by friends and family in the shade of beautiful large trees on a private property in Mangrove Mountain. Once the two exchanged vows and we took some family group photos we went for a stroll around the property at Mangrove Mountain. It was our first time shooting on this property at Mangrove Mountain and we were surprised (and delighted) at the variety of images we were able to get! Beautiful Autumn (in Winter) leaves, sheds, a damn, pines, lush gardens with blossoming flowers… we could have shot at this private Mangrove Mountain property for hours upon hours if we had our way however as always, as natural light shooters, we are always chasing the light and before long, dusk arrived. With the marquee reception all on the same Mangrove Mountain property, we made our way over to the crowd to start the night’s celebrations with dancing, heartfelt speeches, cheeky games, and lots of great food and bevvys. We were spoilt with amazing Winter sunshine and the warm of open flame fire at night. Believe it or not, this was a DIY wedding which really gave it a special personal touch and the details from the ceremony chairs, to the candle lit centre pieces and fairy lights. Thank you for having us as your Mangrove Mountain Wedding Photographers Brianna and Sam, we hope we got some good ones for you to look back on for years and decades to come!

Central Coast Engagement, Wedding and family photographer

June 22, 2021 by Jaypee Abraham

Being a photographer is more than just taking nice photos. Of course, we pride ourselves in taking photos that are well framed, with good composition, light, etc., however we pride ourselves even more in being there to capture the moments and life’s milestones to look back on that day for years and years to come. With that in mind, we have to say, that we are truely privileged to meet some wonderful people on the way and to be there to capture the celebrations and most beautiful life moments on more than just the one occasion. Below are just three couples we have been fortunate to meet at their engagement shoot and/or wedding and then not too long following, have the pleasure to catch up with them again when they have introduced a new little family member into their lives. There were so many more we could have showcased and featured, and some with multiple family shoots when introducing new little ones into their clan however it would have meant too many hours sifting through dozens of hard drives from the 15 years of photos of we have taken!

Jess and Alex – We first met this couple back in 2017 when we did an engagement shoot at Bouddi National Park – our very first shoot at this spectacular location (after not long having moved from QLD to NSW). We were blown away not only with this amazing scenery but also laid the foundations of what we knew was going to be an epic wedding to shoot too a month later. 11th Feb 2017, a day we won’t forget! Jess and Alex celebrated their wedding at Somersby Gardens Estate, also a first for us back then, and it was an over 40 degree day! The couple planned for a wet weather option, but not for the heatwave but Jess and Alex were the best sports and ended the night jumping into the pool with their wedding outfits on. Fast forward 4 years, we were so happy to see Jess and Alex in their beautiful Woy Woy home with their brand new IVF miracle baby boy, Finn.

Yolande and David – We also met this couple back in 2017 when Yolande and David threw their super fun engagement party at The Grounds of Alexandria. With flowing wine, food and fairy lights, this created the perfect backdrop for a night shoot. A year later Yolande and David celebrated their wedding day at a beautiful beach front property at Pearl Beach, Central Coast. Having met most of their guests at the engagement shoot, it almost felt like we had the day off! And two years later, after their wedding, it was just so lovely to see this couple again with their baby boy Albie and what was extra special was shooting their first family session at Pearl Beach, Central Coast at all the same spots we visited two years prior on their wedding day.

Carly and Matt – Although we didn’t do an engagement shoot for these guys, their Winter wedding at the Hunter Valley in 2017 wasn’t the first time we had met this extra friendly couple. We first met Carly and Matt when we were living in Cairns and shot a wedding at the Botanical Gardens there and Carly was a bridesmaid. As it turned out, we shortly after moved down to the Central Coast, not too far from Carly and Matt’s neck of the woods of Newcastle, so it just made sense to shoot their wedding at the Hunter Valley. Carly and Matt’s wedding will always be a standout in our history of weddings as Carly was quite literally the happiest and most fun bride we have shot to date. And when they contacted us in 2019 to take some family photos with their first born baby girl at Soldiers Beach, it was like catching up with old friends again.

Family portrait photographer, Central Coast NSW

June 4, 2021 by Jaypee Abraham

Another gorgeous family portrait session on the Central Coast NSW. How incredibly lucky are we to have this gem on the Central Coast NSW literally down the road from us – a family portrait photographer dream.

We had a lot of fun on this shoot on the Central Coast NSW and so glad this family of five decided to drive up to the Central Coast NSW from Sydney for the afternoon for their family portrait session on the Central Coast NSW, just a stone throw away compared to America, where these guys are originally from. We started at Putty Beach, for this family portrait session on the Central Coast NSW, where we were spoilt with some ocean mist, plus we pretty much had the beach all to ourselves before jumping into the car to drive up to Bouddi National Park Central Coast NSW – our fav spot just at the start of the Box Head walking trail. We absolutely love this spot for family portraits on the Central Coast NSW with the ocean views right out to Palm Beach. Too many gorgeous images to show case and I wish could have posted them all, however here are a few of our favourites on the Central Coast NSW.

Now is the perfect time to book in your family portrait photography with us on the Central Coast NSW. We love shooting in Winter, for a number of reasons. Firstly, as Central Coast wedding photographers, pretty much every weekend is dedicated to wedding photography, however during Winter, we have a lot more available weekends to shoot family portraits on the Central Coast NSW. Secondly, the beaches and parks tend to be less busy so we don’t need to worry about people in the background – you pretty much have the beach to yourself, perfect for a family portrait session on the Central Coast NSW! Bonus – A LOT less mozzies to deal with too! Thirdly, without day light savings, family portrait sessions on the Central Coast NSW tend to start a little earlier compared to during the Summer. This is great news for parents with little ones so the kids aren’t getting as tired, hungry and cranky. Lastly, there is just something about that Winter golden glow for family portrait sessions on the Central Coast NSW. The light is softer for longer giving that warm soft touch to images that aren’t harsh with strong shadows and overly bright highlights.

With the Winter break just around the corner, it’s a great time to book your family portrait session on the Central Coast NSW. Contact us for packages.
