Bells at Killcare Wedding

August 18, 2021 by Jaypee Abraham

Due to this current lockdown, obviously we arent shooting any weddings at the moment at Bells at Killcare. Its pretty devastating that our couples are all looking to reschedule their special days but looking on the bright side, at least we have some amazing weddings to look forward to especially at Bells at Killcare. So because we can’t blog any new weddings, we are going through the archives and reminiscing on some of our amazing past weddings, especially at Bells at Killcare.

One which stands out is the wedding of Karina and Craig at Bells at Killcare back in 2017. It’s always a lot of fun having lunch receptions at weddings and at Bells at Killcare it was such a good move by Karina and Craig as their guests were able to enjoy the beautiful gardens of Bells at Killcare for the entire day. As mentioned in many of our previous blog posts, having the wedding all in one location from preps to reception is a photographers dream. No rushing about to and fro, we can just roll in and shoot away with less worry about how we are going for time. So we started the morning off at one of Bells at Killcare’s family suites, where Karina and the girls were getting ready for the day. Not long after we headed over to the Bells at Killcare reception where Craig cruised in in his drop top looking very dapper.

The ceremony took place on the beautiful grounds of Bells at Killcare with their closest friends and family by their side and once they exchanged vows, the guests enjoyed champagne and canapés in the lush gardens whilst enjoying speeches by family and the couple as well. We all then headed into the reception room at Bells at Killcare where they enjoyed the always amazing food that the Bells at Killcare kitchen always prepare. And whilst the guests continued to enjoy the food, drinks and music at Bells at Killcare we took this opportunity to duck out with Karina and Craig.

The beauty of the Central Coast, and Killcare in particular, is that we are spoilt with the national parks that surround us so we headed over the Bouddi National Park near the Box Head trail and enjoyed golden hour with the newly weds. Such an awesome day and we can’t wait for the weddings to start up again so we can celebrate and shoot more beautiful weddings, not only at Bells at Killcare but all over the Central Coast and NSW.

Tocal Homestead Wedding Photographer – Alisha & John

July 17, 2021 by Jaypee Abraham

Another amazing wedding and one that will be stamped in our memory banks for a VERY long time. Another first for us shooting a Tocal Homestead Wedding so after snooping at all their insta and FB posts, we couldn’t wait to drive up for this Tocal Homestead Wedding. And this was the last wedding we shot before lockdown 2.0 with the lockdowns starting at midnight on the night of their wedding, so we were suuuuper lucky to get this Tocal Homestead Wedding in – leaving non-lockdown life with a bang with lots of laughter, hugging and dancing with 100 odd guests at this Tocal Homestead Wedding. We started the day with the boys and what a lovely surprise that our neighbour was the brother of the groom, so instantly we knew this wedding crew was going to be a great one. Once the boys were spruced up and after a couple of whiskeys, we made our way over to the girls at Tocal Homestead wedding who were enjoying some sparkling whilst getting their makeup done and it wasn’t long before we walked over to the ceremony where the groom and guests were waiting for their beautiful bride. Under a gorgeous and big, old tree Alisha and John say their I dos and then that’s where the real fun starting for us Tocal Homestead wedding photographers! So many pretty spots and that golden winter glow was magic. Sheep, old barns, paddocks by mountains, an old heritage building – we could have spent hours upon hours at Tocal Homestead wedding but of course being Winter, sun down came too soon but the fun did not stop there for this Tocal Homestead wedding. Lots of talk about how the next morning we were going back into lockdown, so the guests did not hold back. Great food, flowing bevs and dancing was enjoyed by all at this Tocal Homestead wedding, a day Alisha and John, and their loved ones, will treasure.

Mangrove Mountain Wedding Photographer – Brianna & Sam

June 29, 2021 by Jaypee Abraham

Another gorgeous Central Coast wedding, this time, at Mangrove Mountain. So much to share about Brianna and Sam’s Mangrove Mountain Wedding, where do I begin? We first met Bri years ago, shooting at a conference in Sydney (which is rare for us!) and knew right away that if this girl got married, she would be one fun bride and so when Bri got in touch and told us she was getting married at Mangrove Mountain, not only were we stoked for her, but we were stoked for ourselves to have such a fun bride to look forward to shooting. The day started at the boys. These friendly, country blokes were as chilled as you would expect country blokes to be at Mangrove Mountain so the shoot was a breeze and we strolled out of the boys prep loving life and our jobs! When we arrived at the girls, they were enjoying the morning sunshine with sparkling and nibbles, in their robes, in the shade of the lush gardens at Mangrove Mountain. The girls took their time getting ready, really enjoying the moment and it wasn’t a mad panicked rush to get ready which was a nice change as Mangrove Mountain wedding photographers. The time came to head over to the ceremony, which was enjoyed by friends and family in the shade of beautiful large trees on a private property in Mangrove Mountain. Once the two exchanged vows and we took some family group photos we went for a stroll around the property at Mangrove Mountain. It was our first time shooting on this property at Mangrove Mountain and we were surprised (and delighted) at the variety of images we were able to get! Beautiful Autumn (in Winter) leaves, sheds, a damn, pines, lush gardens with blossoming flowers… we could have shot at this private Mangrove Mountain property for hours upon hours if we had our way however as always, as natural light shooters, we are always chasing the light and before long, dusk arrived. With the marquee reception all on the same Mangrove Mountain property, we made our way over to the crowd to start the night’s celebrations with dancing, heartfelt speeches, cheeky games, and lots of great food and bevvys. We were spoilt with amazing Winter sunshine and the warm of open flame fire at night. Believe it or not, this was a DIY wedding which really gave it a special personal touch and the details from the ceremony chairs, to the candle lit centre pieces and fairy lights. Thank you for having us as your Mangrove Mountain Wedding Photographers Brianna and Sam, we hope we got some good ones for you to look back on for years and decades to come!

Dalwood Estate Hunter Valley Wedding – Wedding of Katie + Nathan

April 28, 2021 by Jaypee Abraham

It was so wonderful to be a part of this high-school sweetheart’s wedding at Dalwood Estate Hunter Valley wedding. We started off the day in Katie and Nathan’s Newcastle NSW neighborhood before heading over to Dalwood Estate Hunter Valley wedding reception. Katie and Nathan exchanged vows among family and friends in a church ceremony shortly before making our way over to Dalwood Estate Hunter Valley wedding. Before reaching Dalwood Estate Hunter Valley wedding, however, with the stunning weather, we made a few stops along the way for bridal party photos including Hickson Street lookout and the beautiful vineyards at Dalwood Estate Hunter Valley wedding. Time flies when you’re having a ball and it wasn’t long before we all made our way back to Dalwood Estate Hunter Valley wedding where the wedding party kicked off and Katie and Nathan celebrated the night away with their loved ones.

We are back from our mid-year break and reading for the Central Coast wedding season to kick off again. But just before we do so we just had to blog Sam and Jody’s Kincumber, Central Coast wedding.

With such a chilled, laid back, boho styled wedding this Kincumber, Central Coast NSW was absolute pleasure and breeze to shoot. And with the entire wedding day in the one spot in Kincumber, Central Coast we didn’t have to chase the light or worry about traffic and parking – a photographers dream!

Enjoy these earthy toned images and thank you Jody and Sam for letting us capture the magic!

Fernbank Farm, Central Coast Wedding Photography – Wedding of Stephanie and Michael

April 4, 2019 by Jaypee Abraham

We’d heard about Fernbank Farm, Central Coast NSW and seen Fernbank Farm, Central Coast NSW on the Bachelorette Australia when Ali was down to her top 3 guys (yes, I’ll admit I watched it in the background whilst Vic was watching!), so being a photographer, of course Fernbank Farm, Central Coast NSW was at the top of my list of venues to shoot at. And luckily enough, Stephanie and Michael chose us to be apart of their Fernbank Farm, Central Coast NSW wedding. A photographers dream wedding is to spend the entire day at one venue but to also be spoilt with choice for variety, at that’s exactly what we go at this Fernbank Farm, Central Coast NSW wedding!

We started off the morning with Michael and his family as well as his best mate and best man for the day before heading over to see Stephanie and her family in a gorgeous rustic/vintage styled house with beautiful chandeliers and huge draped windows. It wasn’t long until it was time to head off the outdoor ceremony amongst the lush greenery Fernbank Farm, Central Coast NSW has to offer. A lovely ceremony witnessed by Stephanie and Michael’s friends and family was followed by champagne, canapes and lawn games whilst the bridal party went for a walk around the Fernbank Farm, Central Coast NSW to take some photos of the newly weds.

Such beautiful Central Coast sunshine was followed by a balmy evening in the wedding marquee at Fernbank Farm, Central Coast NSW where the newly weds and their guests enjoyed some fun speeches, great food and wine with lively entertainment and dancing!

Chateau Elan Hunter Valley NSW Wedding – Sophie & Aaron

April 16, 2018 by Jaypee Abraham

Sophie and Aaron tied the knot at the romantic location of Chateau Elan in the Hunter Valley, NSW. As photographers, we are so spoilt for choice when shooting in the Hunter Valley, NSW and the Chateau Elan in the Hunter Valley, NSW was no exception! Such a stunning location paired with a stunning couple, our job did not feel like work in the slightest at the Chateau Elan, Hunter Valley NSW.

We started off with the boys in the Whisky Room of the Chateau Elan, Hunter Valley, NSW where they were having a quiet drink in this classy lounge setting before heading over to the girls who were also enjoying each other’s company whilst getting ready for the wedding ahead at the Chateau Elan Hunter Valley, NSW.

It wasn’t long until it was time for the ceremony in the gorgeous little chapel at the Chateau Elan Hunter Valley, NSW where Sophie and Aaron exchanged vows in front of their loved ones. After a few family photos and congratulations we went for a walk around the grounds of the Chateau Elan Hunter Valley, NSW where we enjoyed the warm sunshine and champagne. Thank you again Sophie and Aaron for having us, and congratulations again on an amazing wedding.

Central Coast Wedding Photography – Eshoot with Hong and Steve

October 5, 2016 by Jaypee Abraham

Here is something different on our Central Coast wedding photography blog. We shot these two beautiful humans at Eveleigh inner Sydney City.  The scenery is slightly different then the greenery and ocean blues abundant in the Central Coast. Nevertheless it was awesome being amongst urban landscape, fitting for these two city folk. Here are just a few photos we captured for them…

Tuscany Wine Estate Polkolbin Wedding: A Hunter Valley Wedding of Catherine and Petar

September 8, 2016 by Jaypee Abraham

We had the privilege to photograph the beautiful wedding of a very old friend of mine at the Tuscany Wine Estate Polkolbin, Hunter Valley. The hunter Valley was the perfect location for these two love birds providing the perfect backdrop for their wedding day, and although it was partly cloudy with a bit of rain throughout the Hunter Valley, that never deterred them to enjoy their wedding day at the Tuscany Wine Estate Polkolbin, Hunter Valley. Luckily for us their whole day was inside of the Tuscany Wine Estate Polkolbin, Hunter Valley and we had no issues travelling around, only focusing on what mattered; capturing their special wedding day. Here are a few photos we got for them at their wedding at the Tuscany Wine Estate Polkolbin, in the Hunter Valley.
